Fine bone china mug, printed and decorated by hand in Stoke on Trent. Part of a ‘Romantic Garden’ collection; inspired by the English country garden and quotes from four beloved English romantic poets.

ILLUSTRATION OF: A coy carp fish and a water lily on the front with a dragonfly and water lilies in the mug interior.

QUOTE/ INSPIRATION FROM THE POEM:
The Question by Percy Bysshe Shelley. The quote reads:

‘nearer to the river's trembling edge
There grew…
starry river buds among the sedge,
And floating water-lilies, broad and bright,’

This is written around the illustration and a longer extract of the poem can be read from the label attached.

COLOURS
Dark green, apple green and deep pink.

½ pint capacity. 8.9 cm tall. 8.5 cm wide.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Dishwasher and microwave safe. To maintain the glaze vibrancy it is preferable that a gentle detergent & short or low temperature wash program is used.
